If you are interested in improving your photography skills, I would HIGHLY recommend that you check out the Plano Photography Club. It's been a few years since I've been a member, but I learned a lot from the club. They have monthly photo contests, where you'll get feedback on your submitted photos. They have excellent speakers at the meeting, and they also have several activities including workshops, model shoots, and field trips. It's a large club and there are plenty of people and it's easy to find someone to talk about camera gear for your brand of camera. The club has some truly excellent photographers to learn from.
Is there anyone else here who has attended any meetings?

I never really took classes or anything but enjoy photography and need to get out the house, maybe I'll come take a look see.
