Yes, I live off to the south of Bethany.
If anyone is really interested in doing this big time, there is a group in Plano called the Plano Plodders. I heard about them a few years ago so I think they may still be around.
Maybe we could form our own in Allen. Maybe like the Allen "Hoofers"! Or something that begins with "A". Any suggestions???

Hmmmm. . .Maybe it's just me, but "Plodders" doesn't have a real peppy, energetic, get-up-and-get-with-it feel, does it?
How about Active Allenites? Sorry, not very good but the best I can come up with after a loooong day at work!

Haha... I like these names!
I know that I would love to get out and walk, and if there are a few of us, and we just always meet in a spot at a certain time, then if you're there, lets go, if not go on ahead .. I know that with my job I never know where I will be and what time, and its always different. But for the most part, I have a pretty open (am or pm) schedule!

I like Allen Amblers--that's a good one!
Having a designated time/place to meet would also be a good idea, that way if others want to join in, they would know when and where to meet up. So I guess now we just need to decide when we plan to start doing this, and figure out a good time and place.

I used the thesaurus in my word program and came up with other terms - not necessarily starting with an 'A', but they are:
