I just finished reading this book and wanted to recommend adding it to your reading list. I won't reveal the plot of the story, but it is about one man's journey to re-discovering God in his life. It is about healing, love and forgiveness. I know someone who has read it at least five times. She loaned me her copy of the book to read. I could read it again too and enjoy it just as much. Anyway, get the book and read it. Here is a website that will tell you more about it:

I have to agree, and I have also recommended it and loaned to several people.

This book does have a good message, but it took me almost 2 months to read! I usually knock out a book in 2-3 days, but there were several spots I found rather boring and just couldn't get through.

I usually did my reading right before bed. I read for about 15-20 minutes each night and had this book done in about a week.

JG's mom, I understand exactly what you mean. I'm an avid reader too and can usually finish a book in two or three days. I started "The Shack" a while back and just couldn't get into it at that time. To me, it's a book you really have to concentrate on, so I put it aside to read at a later time when things are less hectic around my house. I do look forward to reading it because I've heard so many good things about it from many different people.

I read it in three days, I could not put it down. I have to re-read it because I read it so darn fast.

I feel like I should read it again too, but gave my copy back. I'm sure that when she gets it back from the person she loaned it to, I might get to read it again.

I still like reading before bed because it is usually quiet and I can concentrate on the storyline. I don't have a whole lot of time to read during the day.
