Its a shame that nobody is getting to play in the stadium. That's just the way it goes.
007 appeared right when someone else that sounds oddly familiar disappeared from the boards. Makes you wonder who 007 is.

Oh come on Chris, 007 is clearly an undecided voter just looking for information.
New users who pop up during the first week of early voting are never are they?

Don't go there. And don't scare off any new members or question their identity. Move on.

Here's weird trick that always works: Call the district and ask.
I bet you could even email.

Calling the district would be to freakin' easy....that's genius why would one want to do that? And besides I wouldn't be able to exchange dialogue with you kind folks on this Allenonline forum.

Be sure to check the diagram at the bottom showing all the cracks on the concourse level. What a POS.

That stadium cracking map looks a little like my Sophomore English essay - RED all over.

WFAA had a story about the stadium this evening. They said Pogue built Rockwall stadium. That is incorrect. They remodeled it. That company had no experience with building stadiums prior to being hired to build our stadium.
Also, Dr. Hindt mentioned that the soccer team plays in the stadium. Incorrect as we've learned in this thread (stopped playing there in 2013 due to operational costs).
Thank God nothing happened while everyone was in the stadium for a game.

Yes, but according to this post, they didn't play there this school year when the facility was still open. That's a problem. We should be playing everything that uses a grass field there.

I wonder if we could contract for one of these. Would probably be the best thing to happen to the stadium.
Then all we would need is some dozers to backfill and pretend it never happened.

Unfortunate the Board decided to save $5 per year on the insurance premium by waiving sinkhole coverage.

It has been a 'sinking' feeling.
I'm still amazed at all the protectors of the bad decision to use Pogue to construct as well as their charge not to jump to conclusions. I'm sorry but there were cracks up to 3/4 of an inch in 2013 and cracks noted at the time of the opening.
Why such the need to protect the establishment and their poor decision making? It was obvious that weight load was a factor and judging from the maps showing all the cracks and diameter the concourse is in poor shape. Louise is quoted in the Dallas Morning News as stating, "the stadium wasn't in imminent danger of collapsing" but then stated it was closed in February because they had no guarantee it was completely safe. Sorry but we didn't have any guarantee back in June of 2013 either.

I continue to believe that it was not a poor decision so the establishment needs no protecting. Sure, the outcome is unwanted but I see nothing that would have predicted this outcome.

Golf is under the stadium. State-of-the-art technology; an amazing set-up. You should check it out.
Regarding the decision to choose a contractor to construct his first stadium. I guess we can leave it alone. Some will never want to believe or hear that part.

I guess that regardless of who is deemed at fault by the final report... we should add... AND LAST to that statement.
I don't see how Pogue or PBK can recover after this as far as ever building another stadium. Even if they stand by their word and make it how it should have been made... too much press on this. I haven't heard of issues with other types of facilities they have built so let's hope they weren't banking on more stadiums.

Allensince1993,
Saw your quotes on the DMN site. Nicely put. I like what the coaches have done thus far as well dealing with yet another distraction.
