I can't even remember what this post is about anymore - somebody moving out of their West Allen apt., after voting against the TRE (because they didn't agree with AISD building the football stadium) went to Dodie's for drinks and got arrested - right?

So there was more info?

At this point, I wouldn't put much into anything the OP is stating. Just stirring the pot from second-hand info without providing personal experience, let alone more details to the original story. That's all...

Get involved with law enforcement, whether by becoming a police officer or volunteering with the force, in order to see both sides of the fence...

I am mid-20s and always read the posts on here attacking the Allen PD and I have never responded because I have never had a problem with them.

When I was in high school I drove a Silverado with a nice lift and big tires and probably everything on it that screamed high-school boy (even though I'm a girl -- it fit in nicely with all the other big trucks). I only got pulled over once in the 5 years that I drove that truck and it was just after I had gotten it and the license plate was not illuminated. The officer was very nice to me - I was scared out of my mind cause I had never been pulled over before and didn't know what I had done - but he was so nice, asking me about the football game and who had won (it was Friday night) -- He ran my license and my passenger's license, told me to fix my license plate light, and sent me on my way. No ticket, no harassing, no searching, nothing. I was very polite back to him and he treated me the same. I have always said, even when I was in high school, that the ones that have problems with the PD are the ones that caused problems when they got pulled over. At least that's how it was when I was there and heard stories about kids in my class getting pulled over.
