We ate at Matt's once and it was just ok. As far as location being bad? I-hop stays busy right there, along with On the Border and Chipotle, so I have a hard time blaming location as the issue. I would think any business that is along side a major freeway is prime location
Matts was always crowded, not sure that was the reason...maybe it's like Yogi said...nobody ever goes there anymore, they are always too crowded...

Update, heard that Brio's had a water line bust and flooded it, so it will be closed while they repair it
I know this is from 3 days ago but Brio is open again. We at dinner there on Friday night.

I hear that, we went downtown McKinney the other day and they are working down there too, traffic was horrible, its like construction on every road there, lol

Take HWY 5 to get to downtown. It's quicker and there's a lot less traffic that way.

No, but you can take 75 to 121/HWY 5 and go north on 5 toward downtown McKinney. Much better than 75 to Louisiana.

H-E-B is not building a store on the land that they bought. Spoke with a contact and he mentioned that they plan on selling the land. Bought as an investment opportunity.
